Last.FM Charts For 2005

For no other reason than my ever-continuing quest to be crowned Biggest Tit Of The Decade, I have decided to record my most-played songs of the past twelve months in this 'ere blog. I imagine it will make for some gripping reading. I can see it becoming an annual event; much like Jools Holland being a wanker as the clock chimes midnight on NYE.

So, what does this chart tell you about my 2005? Mainly that it was shit - You'll see many of the songs focus on heartbreak and loneliness and regrets and love and unrequited love and then a bit more heartbreak. It's not been a great year for me, yet these songs have somehow helped me through the pain.

But what was the biggest comfort in my hour of need? Well, year of need? What song was the most-played of 2005? Are you excited? Are you?

I am.
